The Over 35’s contingent of Penrith Emus Rugby Club is known as the “Legless Emus”.

Playing in the Golden Oldies spirit of ‘Fun, Friendship, and Fraternity’, we participate in regular social games, Gala Days and other events from March to October each year. The Legless Emus also attend ‘Oldies festivals’ worldwide, in the UK, Ireland, France, Canada, USA, Japan, Argentina, New Zealand, and the odd ‘home game’ in Australia.

New members, playing and social, are always welcome and we encourage families to join the fun too! Players of all shapes, sizes, and abilities are welcome. The only requirement is that you are over 35, and looking to have some good old fashioned fun.

Training (if it can be called that) is conducted virtually year round, consisting of touch football with unique and varying rules, at Nepean Rugby Park each Thursday evening from 6.30 – 7.30pm, followed by refreshments in the clubhouse.
